Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Region 9 Grantmaking Program
In collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights, SEE will serve as the Region 9 Grantmaker for the Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program. SEE and its partners will provide subgrants to community-based nonprofits and other eligible organizations representing disadvantaged communities in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, the Pacific Islands, and 148 Tribal Nations.
Join us on this journey as we work collaboratively to address environmental challenges and create thriving communities throughout EPA Region 9. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the path towards environmental justice.
Funded by the Inflation Reduction Act, this program aligns with the Biden Administration’s commitment to environmental justice. SEE appreciates the EPA’s support, reflecting confidence in our mission to create a more sustainable future.
